The Transformational Leader Program Sigma Chi’s Transformational Leader program teaches Fraternity members critical leadership and career skills that will benefit them personally and professionally throughout life. It helps Sigma Chis learn how to identify and focus on their core values, persist through adversity, lead and motivate their peers through change, recognize character in others and develop other critical leadership and career skills. The Transformational Leader supplements members’ academic pursuits with a leadership and personal development experience that has been developed and delivered by an accredited institution, Sigma Chi Leadership Institute. It teaches Sigma Chi members valuable life skills that are proven to make them better men, leaders and workforce members. Designed by Experts The Transformational Leader program has been thoughtfully developed by well-respected experts in the fields of higher education, business, leadership development and fraternities. Using workplace industry data as their guide, the program’s curriculum addresses areas of critical need in today’s students and tomorrow’s workforce. First of Its Kind Program In July 2022, the Fraternity learned that Sigma Chi Leadership Institute (SCLI) achieved accreditation by the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS), which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. SCLI is the first and only fraternal-affiliated organization to receive institutional accreditation, validating its mission, services, curriculum, outcomes and other features that shape the Transformational Leader program and experience. Did you know? Sigma Chi invested years of time and significant funding to develop its own leadership institute? Sigma Chi Leadership Institute (SCLI) is now the only fraternal-affiliated institution to achieve institutional accreditation. SCLI’s accreditation is pioneering because Sigma Chi is now the only fraternal organization to create its own pathway to a third-party validated leadership experience with an accredited institution, SCLI, developing the Transformational Leader and offering it to Sigma Chi brothers. Transformative Experiences Sigma Chi’s Transformational Leader program is anchored by personal and leadership development experiences that are designed to inspire and empower members to innovate and create change that will positively impact the Fraternity and ultimately the world. Developed and administered by Sigma Chi Leadership Institute, the Horizons Huntsman Leadership Summit and Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop are the home of the Transformational Leader program Leadership Certificates.
